I can’t believe that anyone is stupid enough to swallow the idea that Honda, Toyota and GM all cancelled their failed electric car lines and GM gets blamed? I also wonder how one can kill a technology that had been dead since the advent of the crappy Model T in 1906. The dumb and dumber generation - just made for a lying moron like Ron Paul.

I’m still amazed at how gullible these people are to believe that any EV with lead acid battery (like the EV-1) could possibly be a viable alternative to the gas powered car. The driving radius for that car was 35 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try to get by with a car that can’t get to any destination over 35 miles away and back home. I’d like to see you try, assholes. What total, complete
idiots. Our educational system is doing a GREAT job. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha. And you’re criticizing Bush for being dimwitted. As I recall, he mentioned the need for practical batteries before there can be a practical car. I think that means you people are massively more stupid than he. Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha.

The range was between 75-150 miles, your radius estimate is a bit below the low end of the range. And to answer your question, most people who live in urban areas don’t drive anywhere near 75 miles a day. That’s the equivalent of filling up your gas tank every 4-5 days, who does that? I know you’re likely just a troll, because both posts were from the same IP, but I thought I would respond anyway.
